Who We Are
Orange Spark equips emerging artists with essential skills and training needed to transform creative talent into thriving careers. From visual and performing artists, to writers, designers, filmmakers, and digital creators; turning their creative talent into gainful employment. Our programs support disadvantaged and underprivileged youth aged 18-29 and other underserved populations. Orange Spark operates in the United States (US) and international emerging creative markets at the community, national, regional levels. Its mission is simple but ambitious: close the gap between raw creative potential and real economic security, giving creators the foundation to build stable futures for themselves and momentum for themselves and the communities around them. Orange Spark is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Orange Spark bridges the gap between raw creativity and commercial success through our "craft-to-career" pipeline. We transform passionate creators into market-ready entrepreneurs through masterclasses, business training, and industry mentorship. We run parallel cohort programs and structured mentorship loops that connect youths directly to seasoned industry leaders. Creative youths’ journey culminates in practical milestones designed to launch, develop and sustain their career:
Our Three-Pillar Approach
Talent Development: Sharpen youths’ craft with advanced, field-specific education and training that empowers them to develop their technical craft, leaderships and entrepreneurial skills; paired with industry mentorship.
Systems Transformation: Institutional capacity building with government, academia, and civil society (youth organizations).
Equitable Opportunity: Prioritization of gender, underserved groups, and social impact programming, and support to refugee populations.
Underlying all of this is a clear equity mandate. Orange Spark is committed to removing the financial, geographic, and social barriers that keep vulnerable youth populations out of the creative economy, ensuring fair access to resources and leadership opportunities.
